I turned darker.
Thanks to the very beautiful and very dazzling sunlight(which almost blinded me) during ITC.
Never mind never mind, at least I received enough vitamin D to know that I will not get rickets for the rest of, like, the week. Doesn't help much, but better than nothing, right?
Ok. Enough of the sarcasm. Actually, ITC was great. And no I'm not being sarcastic(you can see cos I put one of my fav colours on the "great").
I think I bonded with my squadmates. No no correction: I bonded with my squadmates. Especially during CandleLight Night. Our performance was damn high, damn fun, and it rocked the world!!!Ok, maybe not. But it definitely rocked my world.(abit bu yao lian, hee.) I am super duper until-cannot-be-explained 的 proud of RVNP and our squad. And juniors' dance was soooooooooooo cute! And I remember the part where the Zhi Liang and the guys stood up in the dance was so fun!
Third day was really tiring. We had really hiong morning PT. And I'm quite happy and had quite a sense of accomplishment cos I endured it with my squadmates and didn't fall out. However, my push-ups really cannot make it. I will have to train harder.
It was a shame that some people cannot do PT, if not it will be even more fun. Never mind, we will be able to do PT together next time!!! The important thing is do not 勉强(Psst...WT and JX).
Anyway, our flag kept being snatched away at night.:( But we earned it back in the end, of course(by having good performance during CandleLight Night, nobody falling out during PT etc.).:D And through earning it back, our squad also bonded a lot.:)
One thing I have to comment on, though. Solo night venues are not scary enough. Perhaps because it's raining, and therefore there was a lack of places to do Solo Night(quite a lot of scary places in our school are in open-air, now that I think about it). But next year may be even more a challenge to find venues for Solo Night, cos it's a new school, and what is scary about a new school? But according to Felicia...Muahaha(lol)
You may have realised I didn't talk much about the first day. That's cos I went NPAP and didn't attend much of the first day of ITC. And Night Trail was, to say the truth(NCOs if u read this don't be offended), quite boring cos we didn't get to complete more than one station cos of time limit.:(
Anyway Sir Qing Hui and Mam Yue Ting taught us some cheers but I shall not write it here cos they're
1. long
2. sick
yep. Oh and guess what, I found videos of live performances of Merry-Go-Round of Life(Howl's Moving Castle) and One Summer's Day(Spirited Away) performed by Joe Hisaishi LIVE!!! Woohoo! I can feel his passion for music in the way he performs, and guess what, he knows conducting too(wonder how many more instuments he know how to play)!!! So cool right? And he played the piano very expressively, which made me practically 陶醉在音乐之中! He is defnitely my role model for piano-playing. Then there's also Laputa(City in the Sky) and Fantasia(Nauticaa Valley of the Wind), but since I'm not really familiar with them I shall not post the vids here(unless I find a live one by J. Hisaishi).
Ok guess what: I found it!!! Fantasia from Nauticaa Valley of the Wind:
And Laputa from City in the Sky:
Ok that version is super long, so I don't think you should listen to it anyway...XP
And here comes....*drum roll*....Merry-Go-Round of Life from Howl's Moving Castle!:
And here, One Summer's Day from Spirited Away!:
And I found a song by Fish Leong which is quite nice!
That's all.:) Hope you enjoyed this post.:D
Oh and on a last note, about the ITC camp: I think it's really one of the funnest times I've had in my life(not that the other camps are not fun, it's just that I didn't treasure them) and I've never enjoyed myself so much(perhaps cos it's the last ITC our squad is going through together and I especially value it). And I'm really really 1000% sure that it's going to be one of my most precious memories for years to come(and of course I'll remember the others too, they're also as precious).:)
